When i tried to edit my own blogger template i was quite annoyed with the images used in the template.For example i increased the post body size and reduced the sidebar size.But the images were still in their original sizes and didnt fit the designs.

So i backed up all the images in my template and saved to my hard disk.After that i edited them using a photo editor and uploaded in my googlepages server.Next,i changed my blogger template images url to my own server.Then in my edit template option i called the images from my server.See the screenshot.

So now i have full control over everything used in my blog template.Whenever i feel to change the design i can do it by editing or resizing my images.So you should always back up all the images used in your blog or else you wont have the full control.
